Mark Booker
Mr. Booker is a trial and appellate lawyer who handles criminal and civil cases in Boston and Fall River. Mr. Booker maintains an office in Boston, within easy walking distance from the the Supreme Judicial Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Suffolk County Superior Court, and the Boston Municipal Court Department (Central Division). Mr. Booker also maintains an office in Fall River, a few steps from the Fall River Justice Center, which houses the Bristol Superior Court and the Fall River District Court.
Mr. Booker began practicing law in New York City in 1999. There, he participated in many high-stakes lawsuits that centered largely on financial matters involving international insurance companies, investment banks, privately held companies, and securities brokerage firms. After honing his skills in the state and federal courts in New York, Mr. Booker returned to Boston, his hometown, with the eventual aim of launching his own law practice. In 2007, after eight years of rigorous training and experience in a substantial number of areas of law (including antitrust, consumer, contracts, copyright, negligence, insurance, professional liability, securities, trusts and estates), Mr. Booker opened the Law Offices of Mark Booker in Boston. In 2016, Mr. Booker established an additional office in Fall River.
Mr. Booker has tried civil and criminal cases, including in the federal court sitting in Boston, the Superior Court, and various divisions of the Boston Municipal Court Department. Mr. Booker has handled appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit; the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts; the Massachusetts Appeals Court; and the Appellate Division of the Boston Municipal Court Department.
Bar and Court Admissions
Mr. Booker is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Mr. Booker also is admitted to the New York Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
